Physical Description: Laine is a bit taller than average for a 13-year-old. Her hair is straight - worn short and sort of ragged at the tips, and she's usually seen with a solid-colored black, white, or purple t-shirt. She's almost always wearing dark jeans and checkered vans, carrying a small purple backpack with her. In the backpack are a few plush animals, a cell phone, and her notebook.
Personality: Laine is an optimist, looking at the world for the little bits of good and never lingering on small problems for too long. She's got a bit of a cruel side to her, too, Usually she won't fight, but if she needs to, she'll beat the lights out of someone. She's also sort of insane at points, but it doesn't get too bad.

Background: Long ago, Elaine was cast out at five years old. Wandering on the streets, she was taken in and kept unconscious for years on end in her 'containment cell'. She found herself in such a place when she woke up one morning, and with her powers she left. Days flew by until she took a rest and found herself where she is now.
